There’s nothing quite like summer at Fairfield’s. Long days spent riding in the fresh air, evenings around the campfire and the simple joy of spending time with ponies and friends. Our Summer Pony Camp is a chance to escape everyday life and immerse yourself in a world of hooves, haynets, and horsey adventures, and this year's theme is cowboy!

Whether you’re cantering through cross country, dancing under the stars, or learning to care for your pony like a pro, these are three days you’ll never forget.

What to Expect

Pony Camp at Fairfield’s is more than just riding. It’s a full countryside experience – tents, camp inspections, themed parties and a series of friendly competitions to test your skills and build your confidence.

Campers are grouped by riding ability for lessons and hacking, ensuring everyone is safe, supported and encouraged to progress. Our experienced team is on hand throughout, creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

🎒 What to Pack: Summer Pony Camp Checklist

Pony camp is about being prepared for sunshine, showers, and everything in between. Here’s what you’ll need:

• Tent and sleeping mat

• Sleeping bag and pillow

• Pyjamas, a warm jumper, and socks

• Wash bag and water bottle

• Suncream and hat

• Riding gear (boots, hat, gloves, etc.)

• Fairfield's kit for a group photo

• Warm jumper or gilet for evenings

• Bunting and fairy lights to decorate your tent

• Cowboy-themed outfit for the party night!

Pony Camp Food & Catering

All meals are available to buy directly from Jason (Vivid Catering) on site. A special menu, offering sausage and bacon baps, vegetarian options and hearty meals to keep you going has been provided. View here. Please note that food is not included in the camp price.
